Host and Player Responsibility: Parlor, FuyuLabs, and related employees are not responsible for actions players may take while trying to uncover clues during gameplay. Game hosts should oversee their guests accordingly and ensure all players act responsibly and safely.
User Assumption of Risk and Liability: By using Parlor, you acknowledge and agree that you use the service at your own risk. You assume full responsibility and liability for property damage, personal injury, or death that may result from your use of Parlor, including but not limited to gameplay activities, AR interactions, and physical movement during mystery scenarios.
Additional Player Responsibilities:
- Property Damage: Players are responsible for any damage to property that may occur during gameplay
- Legal Compliance: Players must comply with all local laws and regulations while participating in mystery scenarios
- Private Property Respect: Players must respect private property boundaries and not trespass or enter restricted areas while searching for clues
- Emergency Procedures: In case of injury or emergency during gameplay, hosts should immediately prioritize safety and seek appropriate medical assistance
- Appropriate Behavior: Players should use common sense and avoid potentially dangerous or inappropriate actions, even if they believe it might help solve the mystery
Prohibited Activities:
- No Trespassing: You will not trespass, or in any manner attempt to gain or gain access to any property or location where you do not have a right or permission to be, even if you believe it may contain clues or evidence relevant to gameplay
- Property Protection: You will not damage, deface, or destroy public or private property while using Parlor
- Safety Priority: You will not engage in dangerous activities or ignore safety warnings, even if encouraged by gameplay elements
Emergency Procedures: In the event of injury, emergency, or dangerous situation during gameplay: (1) immediately cease all game activities, (2) call emergency services (911) if needed, (3) prioritize safety over game completion, and (4) seek appropriate medical assistance. Game hosts are responsible for ensuring all participants understand these emergency procedures before beginning play.
Additional Risk Considerations:
- Minors and Supervision: Players under 18 require active adult supervision during gameplay. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring minors understand and follow all safety guidelines and remain under appropriate supervision at all times
- Environmental Conditions: Do not play Parlor in hazardous weather conditions (storms, ice, extreme heat), at night in poorly lit areas, or in environments with known dangers (construction zones, busy roads, unstable terrain)
- Device Protection: You are solely responsible for any damage to your mobile device, camera, or other equipment during gameplay. Use protective cases and exercise caution when handling devices during AR interactions
- Personal Insurance: You are responsible for ensuring you have adequate personal liability and health insurance coverage for activities you engage in while using Parlor

- Physical Hazards: Avoid using AR near stairs, roads, or other hazards

- Private Spaces: Respect privacy in private spaces
- Local Processing: AR data is processed locally on your device
- No Recording: Parlor does not record or store camera footage
