• Copy & Paste: Copy text from any app, then open BambooReader to automatically import
• Camera Import: Take a photo of printed text and we'll extract the Chinese characters
• File Import: Import PDF, Word, or text files from your device or cloud storage
• Share Sheet: Use "Share" from Safari, news apps, or other apps to send content to BambooReader

BambooReader supports these formats:

• Text files: .txt, .rtf
• Documents: .pdf, .doc, .docx
• Images: .jpg, .png (with text recognition)
• Web content: Direct copy-paste from websites

For best results, ensure text is clearly readable and in simplified or traditional Chinese.

BambooReader uses spaced repetition to help you learn vocabulary effectively:

• Automatic Detection: New words are automatically identified and added to your vocabulary list
• Smart Scheduling: Words you struggle with appear more frequently in reviews
• Context Learning: See how words are used in the original text you imported

• Image Quality: Ensure photos are clear, well-lit, and in focus
• Text Size: Larger text is recognized more accurately
• Manual Correction: You can edit recognized text after import
